Appley Hoare has always been associated with the visual arts,
working firstly in advertising, then photography, later as a stylist,
which led to her being the Interior Design Editor
on a prominent 'Homes' magazine.
Appley was obsessed with collecting antiques at an early age and while
studying at the Sorbonne in Paris would spend hours scouring the flea markets.
It was therefore, almost inevitable that Appley would open an antique business
and she has now been dealing in Antique Country Furniture, mainly French but also Swedish,
Italian and Spanish plus related
Decorative Items for over 20 years.
